Itinerary
Departure from Islamabad to Skardu
Pakistan International Airlines flies daily from Islamabad to Skardu. However,
since the pilots fly on mere sight (no computer navigation), the flight only goes on
clear days. During the flight it's possible to catch a glimpse of Nanga Parbat (the
9th highest mountain in the world) and K2 (the 2nd highest mountain in the
world. The air journey is full of thrills and could itself be regarded as the highlight

Drive towards Baltit Fort
The rich beauty of Baltit Fort can be traced back 700 years, to Ayasho II, Tham/Mir
(ruler) of Hunza, who married Princess Shah Khatoon (Sha Qhatun) from Baltistan in
the early 15th Century. The Baltit Fort is a wood-and-stone structure with mud
plaster. It is a three-story building, with granaries and some stores in the basement
on a glacier moraine hill with man-made narrow terraces for the stability of its
ancient foundations.

Move towards Altit Fort and Royal Garden
Altit Fort is an ancient fort in the Altit town in the Hunza valley in Gilgit Baltistan, Pakistan. It was
originally home to the hereditary rulers of the Hunza state who carried the title of 'Mir', although they
moved to the somewhat younger Baltit fort nearby three centuries later. Delight the

Leaving for Eagle Nest afterwards
Eagle nest is best point in Hunza for sunset and sunset photography. Here is a
Mountain which exactly looks like an eagle so its name is drive from this rock. From

Drive towards Khunjrab via Karakoram Highway
The Khunjerab Pass (pak-China Border) holds several distinctions, including being
the highest paved international border crossing globally and serving as the
highest point along the Karakoram Highway along the Khunjrab National Park.
Drive back to passu
Passu is a small village in the Gilgit Baltistan region of northern Pakistan, near
Gulmit. One of the most spectacular views on the Karakoram Highway is the
Passu cones.
Rising to an altitude of 6,106 meters straight up with steep slopes, Passu cones are also called Hot
Mountains as the snow doesn’t sit long on top of their cone or pyramid-like
structure.

Back to Hussani Suspension Bridge
Hussaini Bridge known as the most adventurous bridge in the world, only one of
many precarious rope bridges in Northern Pakistan. The bridge was built during
the time of British occupation of the valley in Shishkat village in Gojal Valley.
Enjoy Adventure Zipline and stepping on the suspension bridge.
Continuing Journey back to Attabad Lake
Attabad Lake is full of chilly blue water, which slit into the lake from nearby
glaciers and from the Hunza River. Witness the sunset view glittering on lake.
Drive back to Hunza via same way witnessing the fabulous tunnels excavated in mountains.
